Cool, but no thanks. I'm an album person, so I can't see myself downloading the odd song here and there like most people do nowadays. Plus its streaming. I download for keeps! I'll gladly stick with Last.Fm for the time being.

I'm with you there. If it says "streaming" I have a tendency to stay away from it.

    Last Fm randomizes that stuff.

Spotify is EXACTLY FOR listening to albums. I'm too lazy to make a playlist so trying out whole albums is what I've been doing.

Got an invite, doesn't seem worth it to me yet. or maybe I'm using it wrong, cause most songs I've looked up weren't found.

Oh, well thats good i guess. Though to be honest I hardly use Last.fm for streaming either. The scrobbling, statistics, and profile are what I use it for really.

Norwegians have had Spotify for a quite long time now.
They even took away the invitation thingy, and added spotify open.

20 hours a month of listening to music, with ads. Free.
99KR (norwegian money, about 20$) for premium, unlimited listening, offlinemode, phone compatible (not For Bada OS, wich sucks) Every bowling alley, clubs in norway uses it. I just started, i didn't like it at first, but it's quite ok after all.

It's weird that Spotify just came to US just now... US music has been awaible for a long time too.
It's streaming, but you can buy each song, or album.

You can make playlists out of simple albums, there is no wait in the streaming (i have bad internetquality, but never had a single buffer or lag)

You either add simple tracks, whole albums, or everything from an artist (NOT every single track from artists are there. Warnr didn't like having there music there at first, but a great deal of music can be found there by now)

*edit again* Offline mode if you pay for premium, is that you can listen to each track you have, when ur offline. AT your cellphone, and your computer, and several music systems.

I got all this information on the site... And by experience.

Listening to the mix right now. Sounds pretty good so far, aside from the Rye Rye track.
