Really? I thought that the name Linkin Park was a tribute to Lincoln Park, a park in their home town (minus Chester)

Or something like that. Thats what I read a few years back in Rolling Stone Magazine.

Lincoln Park was a park that Chester used to pass on his way home from work which had a lot of homeless people "living" there. Thats where they got the name.

Man... That's a good theory. I mean, sure yeah, blah, blah, they might not have a true reason, but hell, it's the only damn detailed on I've seen that made sense.

Also, if you don't agree, don't bash the person, it's their opinion. If you feel there's another reason, just calm down, type it out, and don't get all smart-ass on the topic.

The idea is only an opinion therefor it can be looked at in different views. Sometimes analyzing something is better than going with a simple thought. Usually an idea that is brought up looks more efficiant and impressive than just a "they just use it" comment. Sorry, I'm really into Language Art-type of analyzations and I've been taught that opinions are like so. If you want to oppose the opinion, you have to make sure you've got back up info that makes/proves your point .

So, I believe that this 'spray paint mask' idea is a good one. Why? Because it was explained in details. LP has been in the eye of critics ever since they hit it big, and they've been called a "boy band" for as long as I can remember. But if you listen to those live tracks from the show, Meteora has Chester screaming his lungs out like never before. The intensity in his voice, and the music has evolved to a point they can no longer be called "boy bands", because you wouldn't see someone like Justin Timberlake shout like Chester .

As for the spraypaint, hell, this could have more than one reason, but overall, the mask could symbolize something. But who knows, only LP has the story behind what they use. I mean c'mon, Meteora, a place in Greece, who would have guessed until the research was done, and people came up with alot of info on Meteora after that (including myself).

"Opinions can be changed. They are not statements. If you're going to prove one wrong, then make sure you have the right information to back it up." - My English teacher .

    :D

That was very well explained. So everyone do what Keaten(sorry if i spelled your name wrong) says. :p

Dont just tell me i'm wrong, give me reasons why i'm "wrong". But I dont really think I can be wrong untill Linkin Park explained why they used the theme.
