It does make a lot of sense, but it would be nice to see the other two member's sides as this does seem biased at times. To me, Boxcar Racer isn't much different to blink-182's last album.
For some reason the way Tom talks about Angels and Airwaves reminds me of how Billy Corgan talked about his debut solo album ....hope Tom doesn't make 300 page blogs about each 10 minutes of his life though on a Myspace
You've only read Tom's point of view, Mark might think of it very differently... [/b][/quote] Yeah, I understand that, but still...Tom's side of the story makes it look like Mark needs some professional help.
I like Blink 182 alot, wish I had seen them live before all this mess happened Will be interesting to see what Mark/Travis have to say to all this I hope that Angels and Airwaves and Plus 44 both bring out some great songs and albums
I list to them since i was 9, not that i like punk, but they really had something cool back at then... i would have wished it would have been Green Day who split up insted... not that i like any of them....
When you're together for at least a decade, when the friendship falls it's going to fall hard. Because naturally if you lasted this long, there has to be a good reason for the band breaking up. Take Pink Floyd for example, one of the most influential bands of our time but two of the members absolutely refuse to reunite beyond Live 8 and special events because of an issue that drove them apart in the 80's.
