That's some of the funniest shit I have ever read. ! Genius, just genius.
And apparently it's not a joke, either.
And apparently it's not a joke, either.
If it's not a joke, he's a tad bit full of himself. Just slightly.
If it's not a joke, he's a tad bit full of himself. Just slightly.
I thought the same thing.
If it's not a joke, he's a tad bit full of himself. Just slightly.
Um. There's no way that's serious.

Apparently theninhotline.net is actually closely affiliated with NIN. Trent supposedly knows a lot about this site and is quite familiar with the ins and outs of it all. Trent supposedly also owes a lot of advertisement credit to Meathead. But this is all merely speculation. All that I know is that there's a lot more going on behind the scenes of theninhotline.net than a mere fansite.

Haha, well it's certainly possible, but as a frequent Meathead reader I have to say that seems just like something he would do. It's all very in line with general Meathead humor, only with all the knobs turned up to 11. EDIT: He's updated again. Clicky
It's funny how he injects all this humor even though he's quitting. That sucks. Casey should take up Meathead's position.
So apparently, according to the Hotline, some company called Rykodisc is re-issuing Pretty Hate Machine on November 22nd. I didn't buy PHM, so depending on if this has any additional material on it, I might get it. How about you?
Yeah, it says on the Hotline that they stopped producing them two years ago, and I just saw a few copies at FYE a month or so ago. For like $15.99 or something.
Apparently, Jerome Dillon has left Nine Inch Nails permanently. If that's true, it'd probably explain Trent's "..." in his little section of the NIN website.
Whoa. NIN = amazing live. Really, really amazing. I missed Death From Above because we got lost <_< , as well as half of Queens of the Stonage's set. Don't really care about that though because what I did see of QOTSA was completely unimpressive. No energy and lots of solos. Didn't look like they were having fun at all. Nine Inch Nails on the other hand...holyyy shit. Really really great. They both went nuts & sounded awesome...Long ramble here.
That one band is caught playing live on VH1's VSpot. It was filmed live at the Voodoo Festival. It's a pretty good show afterall, and Branden's going to sum it up for you, because he's bored and doesn't want to go to a silly festival. -They play songs like Head Like A Hole, Terrible Lie, March of the Pigs, Something I Can Never Have, The Frail/Wretched, and of course Closer. -Trent Reznor still does his trademark uppercut on March of the Pigs, as talked about on The Meathead Perspective. -Apparently Reznor forgot where the B key was during The Frail, because he missed it. But oh well. -Something I Can Never Have is still good live, and I like how Trent rubs his biceps during the first verse. -That crazy Reznor added some new words to The Wretched! Dastardly. -That Australian drummer sure is animated. -Trent sings some Ohhs at the end of March of the Pigs. -Something weird happened to Head Like A Hole. They played it first, and the little voice solo sounds different. -Censorship pretty much fucks Closer all up. -Whoa, that Aaron North fellow played a guitar solo in Closer! He's like, the next Hendrix. -On more Closer news, it sounds great, save the censorship. -The Only Time/Closer mashup breakdown almost made me pee my pants. Loooouuud. -I was promised Saul Williams, yet saw no sight of him. </3 .....And that was just part one, apparently. Yes, I've been typing this as I watch it. Part Two: -They play such hits as Burn, Gave Up, Right Where It Belongs, -Burn sounds nice, and angry. -Gave Up is quite fancy. -Right Where It Belongs! -I suggest you put brightness up before viewing the above song. -Actually, someone else can write something about Right Where It Belongs, because it's pitch black. -SAUL WILLIAMS! -Spoken word from Saul Williams! -I have goosebumps right now. -Reznor Beatbox!!! -Yes motherfucker, yes. Saul Williams + Nine Inch Nails. I remember when you people were excited about Jay-Z and Linkin Park. C'mon now. -I'll write more, now I have to go.
