Just as the new A Tout Le Monde began to grow on me I heard the old one for the first time in a while and started to hate it all over again.

 

Enslaved have really grown on me, Ruun is a great album, nice balance of melody and Metal. Below the Lights? Not so much, although the Crossing, and Heavenless are great tracks.

 

I can't stop listening to Kreator.


the new Dark Tranquillity is ace btw. buy it.

 

Anyone listen to The Human Abstract?

 

Yeah, good band, nothing extremely special though.

 

Can't fucking believe I'm missing them on Warped! Fuck! Movement From Discord and Vela, Together We Await The Storm are both great songs.

 

They are like my favorite band now, and I cant wait to see them at warped

But actually on topic, Warped seems to be getting more Metal each year! I wish I went in '05 though, Thrice, Zao and Darkest Hour? On one tour? Yes please.

Yeah, they were recommended to me by a guy I know on Myspace a while ago and I enjoy them quite a bit.

 

I've been checking out some Canadian Black Metal, and it's pretty good. Check out Woods Of Ypres.

Does anyone listen to symphonic metal or power metal? I feel alone.

I just listened to all that remains, and there pretty good

 

All That Remains are an awesome band. One of my favorites at the moment. Their new album is damn good, but personally I like This Darkened Heart more, you need to listen to that album.

 

Winnipeg has a great black metal/death metal/grind scene.

..Which further makes me wish that I still lived in Winnipeg. The Arts have a small place in Alberta, and I love some of the music from Mnaitoba.
