If you want to view better content, watch a channel called Halo Canon. His channel is probably the best Halo channel I've come across yet.
I think the guys are Canadian. I know their pronunciation sucks. I almost want to contract them and tell them that ill do thier commentary for them. Needless, I think the points made in their videos are compelling, despite how they speak. And yes, B, the videos are HaloFollower's.
It's incredibly interesting, for sure. But I'm never going to be able to get into this channel, as petty as it sounds. It's like they didn't bother going back through and saying "maybe we should fix that" and just left their garbage, garbled English in the videos. But the theory of the Master Chief having been imprinted with the Iso-Didact's being by the Librarian is an incredible theory I'd have never thought of myself. I also read a couple comments suggesting perhaps the Librarian imprinted herself onto Halsey.
Wow, Hunt The Truth has been getting better every week. These strange new "anomalies" that the conspiracy theorist mentioned are very intriguing. I really hope they talk about this more in the near future and I wonder how it will tie into Halo 5.
Oh... my... god... If you guys haven't been keeping up with Hunt the Truth, you really should be, especially since it will be setting up the story for Halo 5. Why I feel to make this post now is because today's episode is mind blowing. We finally understand why everyone views the Chief as a traitor. And it's not just because he's gone rogue, it's because he just shot up and killed multiple humans at peace talks between humans and other alien species while escorting the aliens. Holy shit. Also, in the second most recent episode they have talked about the deep space anomalies again and how they are much bigger and threaten the universe and could cause the death of everyone. So there's that too.
I'm not sure if it was solve in literature or not, but I think that Chief is trying to get back to Halsey (See Spartan Ops) so she can rebuild Cortana.
Yeah I've seen that theory come up. But I have a feeling it's something bigger than that. If that was the case, what would the need for the Guardians be (as in the giant thing in the teaser trailer from E3 last year and the thing on the cover art)? Can't wait for tonight's episode of Hunt the Truth. Hopefully the conference between ONI and the UEG will be in the episode tonight. EDIT: I just... just can't fathom what happened in the last five minutes of this episode. And 343 leaves us off with yet another cliff hanger.
I have a theory with the Hunt The Truth story that involves Locke being the one that shoots up the embassy, not the Chief. I keep going back with the interrogation with Halsey in the beginning of Halo 4. A quote that really sticks out to me was "What are you after? You're trying to replace him." Perhaps the person that dressed up as the Chief is actually Locke, ONI's hand-picked replacement poster boy involved in a smear campaign designed to get rid of the Master Chief. This would make sense too with the two hunter vs. hunted videos. "Was everything you've compromised, every thing you've done worth it? Was it? You've completed your mission, Spartan Locke. Mine is just beginning." Perhaps Locke's mission is to replace the Chief. By killing "The most wanted man in the galaxy" would escalate him to Chief level notoriety.
Eh I see a couple problems with that theory. First, I doubt Locke would be the one to disguise himself as the Chief. As far as we know, Locke isn't just a brainwashed ONI operative who's as corrupt as his employer. If that were the case, Locke would be going completely against the open minded character 343 had set up with Locke in Halo: Nightfall. In addition, while speaking to the Arbiter during the two added cutscenes in H2A, Locke said that he intended to find out why the Master Chief went rogue. It seems to me that ONI has left Locke in the dark. Also, don't you find it a bit strange that he only shot humans at the peace negotiations, but led all aliens to safety? And why the Chief decided to take the ambassador off world only to kill him a day later and leave his body in an open field? There is something really fishy about this, and I'm pretty sure that the Chief has found out some dark secrets that ONI has been hiding.
If it wasn't Locke who dressed up as the chief, perhaps it was someone else? I have a real hard time believing that Chief would compromise so much. I also still have a feeling that ONI wants to bury the Chief and the Spartan II program.
I haven't kept up with Hunt the Truth (I plan on doing so this weekend) but ONI's always wanted to bury the SPARTAN-II program, and especially the Chief and Dr. Halsey, so that makes sense to me, based on what you guys've been talking about.
This last week of Hunt The Truth was incredible! Happy to see Ben get the information that he was looking for. Should be interesting what happens next week with the last episode of Hunt The Truth. Should be interesting to see how, if at all this will tie in to E3.
I know! Each and every episode seems to be getting better and better, and 343i is doing a perfect job at hyping up Halo 5: Guardians. And I'm not sure if Hunt the Truth will have a direct tie in with what they show at E3, but it will obviously have a huge impact on Halo 5: Guardians' story. I just can't wait to see what they have in store for us next week (and at E3).

HOLY SHIT! I'm so hyped, but so scared. This game could EASILY fall short of expectations with all the hype going into it. I have faith in 343i, though.
