    They sometimes drank rum and gunpowder. Rum, or brandy was drunk because the water they kept was stale and stored in rotten barrels.

    And apparently there was a type of drink- Kill Devil, that consistsed of rum, wine, tea, milk, lime juice, and sugar and spices. If they could get their grubby hands on all of those ingredients.

    On the best looking guy/girl are we voting for both or the one that is applicable?

    I'm finding it tough to vote this year in stuff like sports and entertainment because i don't know about those.

    Guys have been voting only for best looking girl (except for a few, which is fine with me, it gives us more votes) and girls have been doing both girls & guys. It's up to you. You really only have to do the applicable one, but we'd prefer you to do both.

    And yeah, the sports & entertainment thing I just kind of voted for people who talk a lot about that kind of thing.
