Derek, on rebellion you said "sing" I thought there were screams on this track or no? Which songs then have screams?
War doesn't compare to any of the hard tracks the band has done before. I honestly (despite knowing I 'should be shocked' by this track)...was still completely shocked.
If it's more in your face than Victimized or the bridge to Given Up, that would be insane. Bring it on.
Thanks for the track reviews, Derek. They have made me a bit more hopeful for the album. The songs I am most looking forward to hearing are from the latter half, similarly to LT. In fact at close glance it appears to be LT: Visceral Edition. You have answered most of my questions in the shoutbox, so I'll just ask - how many of the songs flow into one another? Does it feel more like a cohesive album rather than a collection of songs? I hope you can answer and I thank you for taking your time in writing this all up.
This is good to hear! Very interested in 'Mark The Graves', 'A Line In The Sand' and 'War'. And this:
As far as being LPA's Hype Man, Blake. You are making me HYPE HYPE HYPE for the album. Derek's impressions hype me up too, I guess. But his name isn't Blake. Bring on THE PARTY.
Derek please could you make a final List which Songs have real screams/mike singing/rapping? So we (Blake, Me, etc.) could shut up asking this over and over again?
Yes, you guys wanted to know in how many songs mike is rapping or singing so leave blake alone its none of your buisness
Some think focusing of the number of screams is shallow. I also don't really care about it. But whatever, to each to their own, and each has the right to be excited about a particular feature of the songs. So those telling you to cut the crap should maybe be more open-minded
Because I, as many others, got irritated after the 37th time you asked that. On topic: Looking forward to the final four songs. Thank you, Derek, for your in-depth descriptions.
