No logical reason why the release date for the single would be so far.... It has to be this week. They've already built the hype for the song
Who's they? Linkin Park haven't said anything at all to be honest. Have they even confirmed the album art being theirs?
Yeah, that's kind of odd. They're completely ignoring it, not even confirming or deny anything about the new song. Maybe they're trying to keep it a surprise, I don't know. If it's May 30th then that'd suck, it'd be 2 months after GATs until we finally got something new.
Which is fine, just the hype thing is a bit out of hand at the moment. If they haven't said anything at this point they're either really busy, or are keeping it a surprise. I honestly do not want to hear 2 songs before the album (usually 1 interlude) leaving me with only 9 new songs to listen to.
I agree man! It did come out really early, people are surprised when I tell them the album comes out in June.
As a Coldplay fan, I guess I'm not as picky when it comes to how many songs are released before the album date (6 out of the 9 tracks from Ghost Stories had already been heard). To me, the sooner the better. The more the merrier. I'd rather have Until It's Gone sooner than later.
well... they kinda have. They've made public the single art, the length of the song, and the tracklist of the album all in 2 days.
Wait, really? I'm a coldplay fan too but have been so wound up in LP news and checking online 5 times a day haha. I need to look up these other 4 new songs now :O
this is all true. It seems like it has to come this week but its not coming. Hopefulyl later this week
But it wasn't LP who posted the single art for UIG, it just appeared on iHeartRadio. Let's just hope that we get some official announcement from LP soon.
Yeah. The whole rollout just feels out of whack because "Guilty All The Same" came out in the middle of March and we won't get anything else until the end of May. EDIT: ^ This. I just quickly browsed the band's Facebook page and there's no mention of a new single there, let alone the cover art.
We have a better chance of hearing a new song from THP at the show in AZ before we hear another single.
Live performances, but still pretty decent recordings. The only one that is awful is A Sky Full of Stars (Not the song itself, the recording) because the sound is horrible. The band didn't want anyone to record it, but someone went ahead anyways. It's definitely going to be a big hit.
