This is exactly what I see with Linkin Park. Many people don't like Recovery because he's changed quite a bit. Different lyrics, different flow, different style of beats (more poppy)... but does that make him a lot worse? Sure, he is less unique nowadays, but think about it - he's still the best living rapper I know.

And yeah I admit Relaspe was pretty terrible with the exception of a couple songs. But I think Recovery was a pretty great album.

I'm on Everything's beat is kinda annoying but they spazzed towards the end. In other news...

People will probably hate on the 'popiness' but they just killed a nice beat, diggin this song.

 

Horrible song. This isn't Bad Meets Evil... this shit is like the corniest thing ever! It's like Eminem just HAD TO shoehorn some of that Recovery corniness into this album to appeal to the "Love the Way You Lie" crowd. Smh.

 

Shit, I might as well just completely avoid Bad Meets Evil altogether then

No I don't know it lol. I genuinely hate this song. I despise this new "singing over corny pop beats Eminem". He used to diss pop acts on record and now look at him... he himself is doing corny pop songs.

 

I don't really like it but it isn't any more "corny" than the new Coldplay song

 

You really comparing Coldplay with a hardcore rap crew? Really now?

 

Eh, it's not a bad song in my opinion, though the hook really ruins the song. :/

 

1) Bruno Mars has a DAMN good voice.
2)...but the hook doesn't seem to fit in the song at all
3) I thought at the very least Em's verses were better in this song than 'Love the Way You Lie.'
4) Meh

 

I'll admit the chorus doesn't fit, but the song goes hard, no matter what the beat in the background is.

Also I love the Fast Lane version with Chamillionaire, it makes the song much better IMO with his new chorus.
