And I love that. Just like Atlas. The track got so much praise because it was different, and so does this one. Proves you don't have to follow trends (hint hint LP) to be popular and praised at the same time.

I have to admit, I've never given Bon Iver a proper listen. That's what they sorta sound like, I'll definitely need to check them out.

The more and more I listen to it, the more I convince myself that this is going to be the opening track on Coldplay's new album! It sounds so much like something you would open an album with!

I wonder if Atlas is gonna be on the album.. it kinda has the same vibe going on, albeit more Coldplay-ish.

I'm absolutely loving this song. And the music video is pretty great.

I didn't read about the Bon Iver comparisons before listening to the song, but after one minute in I immediately though of it too. The similarities are so obvious, but yes, sorry for the redundant comment here ahah

Not something I would listen to everyday, but still kind of cool.

Just imagine Midnight live. God, it would be AMAZING! Hopefully they play it at the iTunes Festival, along with more new tracks. :)

I've never actually seen a concert from them. I shall definitely be attending the upcoming tour!

    Reminds me of Imogen Heap.

I like it a lot, but I can see their fanbase being severely polarized over it. I'm into that moody electronic stuff anyways so this is dope.

I am in love with this new song. It's nice to hear something other than the alternative-pop that Mylo Xyloto (though I still love that album). This song is refreshing, and it gets me so excited for this upcoming album.

Also, I don't really see why Bon Iver immediately pops into people's minds when they listen to Midnight. This song reminds me more of Imogen Heap than Bon Iver. And I think it's ridiculous that people are saying this "isn't a Coldplay song." Some people just can't handle change at all.

EDIT: I just uploaded a lyric video for the song and I'm pretty sure these lyrics are correct.

Jon Hopkins should become an official member of Coldplay.

Time to listen to Immunity again.

If the rest of the album lives up to "Midnight", I'm gonna fucking buy it :phone: and it'll be the first Coldplay album I care about since "Rush Of Blood".

Just woke up to see my video was removed due to copyright, great.
Well here's the lyrics I found:

    In the darkness
    Before the dawn
    In the swelling
    Of the storm
    Running round and with apologies
    And hope is gone
    Leave a light
    A light on

    Millions are
    Miles from home
    In the swelling
    Swelling on
Running round and with a thunder
    To bleed from thorns

    Leave a light
    A light on

    In the darkness
    Before the dawn
    In The darkness
    Before the dawn
    Leave a light
    A light on
    Leave a Light
    A light on

I still think it's ''We'll be running with our torches''. Don't know if it makes sense.

Also, if this song is so Bon Iver/Jon Hopkins, I'll have to check those out. I know Jon Hopkins was involved with both VLVODAAHF and MX.

Still addicted. I love the vocals so much.

    Wait... Just wait...

In other news, listen to this song in complete dark. It's like... even better.
