But still, seems odd to me to release them so close to each other, and the EP doesn't release until June
Someone must've tried to explain to Chris Martin that this new Coldplay single would be competing with "Something Just Like This" but they just couldn't get through to him
So I'm planning on doing a song request for their Manila show. It's either gonna be "Strawberry Swing" or "Miracles" - Strawberry Swing because it's a personal favorite and underrated gem, while Miracles has yet to be performed live by the entire band. Some nice choices from my fellow Filipinos - "Shiver", "O", "Green Eyes", "Atlas" (!!), "Life in Technicolor II" and "Swallowed in the Sea" although if i see someone request In My Place or Dont Panic I swear I'm gonna flip out lol
FOUR DAYS BEFORE MY CONCERT WOOOO They trimmed down one song from the c-set to give way to "Something Just Like This". And gdi why do people keep requesting Til Kingdom Come. Don't get me wrong I love the song but there were so many other options and it's overplayed at this point imo
@The Joesen One I'm pretty sure the band purposely picks that song because people definitely request other songs
Also Will Champion (the band's drummer) is singing lead vocals in "Don't Panic" Jonny Buckland still sings the second verse.
Here's my video of their performance of "Ink" for a fan who couldn't go to their concert because of cancer. Chris Martin visited him earlier that day and the guy requested "Ink", so they honored his request. Also they made an improvised song about Manila. (also yes that's my name hahahaha) https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1270877173032993
Coldplay has premiered a new Kaleidoscope song, "All I Can Think About is You" at their first Tokyo show. (starts at 2:45 unless you wanna see a hilarious Chris blunder hahahaha)
So I guess I have 2 songs to listen forward to now... is it just me or was their planning of releasing promotional tracks for the EP really awful?
