Listened to the album twice. And listened to a few songs on their own a few times. This could very well be my favorite Coldplay album (I haven't heard X and Y).
I take back what I said about A Sky Full of Stars a while back. That song is beautiful, and surprisingly fits the album. True Love, Ink, Another's Arms are totally amazing too. They get better every listen. And I've really liked Oceans ever since the live version surfaced, the studio version is no different.
Overall, I'd give it 9/10. Nice mix of Electronic/Alternative/Pop/Ambient. I am absolutely in love.

I'd suggest listening to it at least twice before coming to a conclusion. Because it gets so much better on the 2nd listen itself. I'll do a track by track review after a couple more listens.

Also, why is O only 5:23? Am I missing something?

Even if you do listen to X&Y, Ghost Stories is most likely still going to your favorite. X&Y is a great album, but I wouldn't think alot of people would put that album above the absolute Majesty that was unleashed today!

I'm assuming there is supposed to be a much longer gap between "Fly On" and "O" on the album itself.

Track 1 is my favorite. It is always in my head.

That was worthy of being post #1700.

Another's Arms is so darn good. I think that's my new favorite Coldplay track. So beautiful.
6 listens into the album, I still think of it the same way. Amazing stuff.

There are a couple of nice tracks on this thing but overall I'm not too fond of it.

After hearing "Magic" and "A Sky Full Of Stars", I definitely said the same thing.

Just finished my first listen. Damn good album I'd say. Much more emotional and cerebral than their past efforts (at least the past few). There are many points here that I liked and I know with repeated listens I'll more of those moments. Solid effort by Coldplay!

Jon Hopkins did a remix of Midnight. Essentially, he did a remix of Coldplay's remix of his own song. SO META. It's remix-ception!

    Good.

Imma listen to this album like a God on Friday. Watching the visual experience and reading Chris handwritten lyrics off my tablet.
