So after the leak of Battle Symphony, we have another 'Chester song' from Linkin Park. so what are you think is the best? Mine of course is: The Little Things Give You Away.
Um what makes a "Chester" song? I assumed it meant a song where its heavily just focused on Chester's vocals and not much in terms of actually playing instruments from the band members. But then you say TLGYA is your favorite "Chester solo" song, which not only heavily focuses on the contributions of Brad on guitar and Rob on drums, but also contains vocals from Mike, so now Im just left clueless about what a "Chester solo" song is.
Chester's song means here: only Chester's lead vocals throughout the whole song. and in the case of TLTGYA, Mike's vocals are only backing not lead imo.
Some easy picks for best performances from Chester on Linkin Park recordings are probably "Given Up", "Breaking The Habit" and "Little Things", if that's what you're asking, but, IDK ^ Sad because it's true
That's why i've posted it in the Random Chat and not in the LP Chat. Actually it was accidentally. :/
I'm pretty sure Mike sings the "All you ever wanted" line himself a few times. (I realize that Chester does it in the actual choruses, but after that, I think it's Mike).
Breaking the Habit is one of the best where Chester sings the entire song, but also Leave Out All The Rest, Valentine´s Day, Powerless, Sharp Edges, NCSM and definitely OML, there might be many more, but those are my top ones, hope I´m not forgetting any other. Of course I also like Mike´s singing (it tops the way Chester sings in some songs) and in terms of being an artist as a whole Mike is much more complete than Chester as he sings, raps, plays the guitar, plays the piano, produces the music in the studio, makes remixes, does basically everything.
