When have there "always been skeletons, death and not something positive"? Maybe with the exception of "A Thousand Suns", none of LP's previous album art has had any kind of focus on death or bones at all
So, accordingly to what Mike said on the Google Hangout for the Stanford University, they modeled all of the art in 3D. It's a shame…
Did he really say "all"? He could have meant just "all" of Jean's artwork Maybe his drawings aren't the only that they'll be using for the album art
I hope you're right! But yeah, he clearly says "Now we got 'all' this 3D items that came from his drawings", and it will be strange if parts of the album art will be in 3D and others don't.
Someone in the other threads questioned why they didn't use the handdrawn version they used on the Carnivores poster for it, and I'm inclined to agree. That shit looks better in every way.
This needs to happen. Also, I stole this picture and put it on FB. I haven't laughed this hard in months.
ok, so I was staring at the album cover and realize that how will someone shoot a bow and arrow if the strings that holds the arrow is on top of the forearm. I don't know much about shooting a bow and arrow but isn't the string suppose to be under your arm.
It's obviously some kind of Blob Angel, the cover art entity doesn't need to abide by your wack-ass bow logic.
It would make it more difficult to aim, but you would still be able to fire an arrow that way. Also, perhaps ice arrows work differently...
