hmm i first heard one step closer but i didnt really care about it. the one song that stuck out in my head the most was in the end. because of the piano built into it. a mont later [i was at a summer camp i didnt have access to any stores] i bought HT.
In the End. i was a limpbizkit fan then and i hated them just because of their name! LOL! and i even went as far as saying that ITE sucks. but i still ended up liking them.=)
At first I did not like LP really much. One day I saw their in the end video on MTV and was rather impressed. After that I got my copy of ht and I listened to it only a few times till Meteora came out. I found that both albums were great and they are still the best ones I've ever heard. As result I bought Reanimation and began to collect LP stuff.
the first song I heard was 'one step closer' to be perfectly honest I hated them at first because the guy I was seeing at the time was really into them and I was beginning to lothe him but after I bought HT about four, five months after it came out, I started to really like them B)
First song I heard was One Step Closer on the radio, loved it. A friend burned me a copy of Hybrid Theory which I still have to this day (yes, I don't have a legal copy of HT, sue me) and got hooked on their music
first I heard in the end.. but i wasn't really into music, so it didn't do much to me.. then I accidentally downloaded SIB.. then I got meteora.. then reanimation, then hybrid theory... my fav. band ever since
One Step Closer. And I just bought HT last year, I bougt Reanimation, Meteora, Frat Party and LIT before buying HT .
I heard In the End on the radio the first week it was like one of the top songs. Then my friend burned me HT on a CD so I really got into LP. Favorite songs then were Place For My Head, Papercut and In the End. Went on to burn Hybrid Theory EP, getting into older LP stuff. Then I guess they became my favorite band so I got Meteora the first day it came out then LIT and Collision Course and here I am today with it all.
In The End. My friend showed me cause her brother got her into Linkin Park. She showed me in like August 2003. o_o Liked them ever since. I bought Meteora and then burned some songs from her HT (which then got scratched) and had to live off that til like Christmas because I didn't really have any other cds I liked.
A Place For My Head. Me and my friend used to play a demo for a certain game that was due out sometime in 2001, it was called X-Games Skateboarding. The demo turned out to be better then the actual game, but that's besides the point. We used to play the demo a lot, and A Place For My Head was in the game, part of the games soundtrack. I wasn't really into music then, and for some reason A Place For My Head just stuck out from all the other songs. So I borrowed Hybrid Theory from my friend, and now I'm a big fan
I heard In The End on the radio, thought it was catchy, so I bought the album and loved it after that.
First song I listened and watched the video is One Step Closer... when I was 13. At first I'm not interested in their song and I'm disgusted by Mike's appearance (no offence to the fans) Well, when I've watched the video In The End. I started to like them because their lyrics and songs are so related to me - some sort of coincidence. It was like I'm experiencing it. And sooner, I started to like them, listening to their music, memorizing their lyrics and well, support them... And besides now - I'm a Hardcore LP fan.. and i like Mike... hehe.. well, as in an idol... he's my idol. in fact the whole band is.... my idol.
Crawling I didnt liek it ot much but i heard one step closer and in the end and i liked them. faint was the song that really made me get into LP.
I heard In The End and my thoughts were-"Does this world need another Limp Bizkit?"Then this girl that i liked gifted me their CD and i heard it and slowly it grew on me.Today it ranks as one of my favourite rap-rock CDs[3rd after Infest by Papa Roach and Significant Other By Limp Bizkit]
