Such a unique sensation! There’s a lot I love to dissect about it. I wonder why we don’t feel it as often or at all anymore. I think for me it’s related to my physical and mental health.

I think it's because the lockdown and all my friends moving abroad made me miserable

Disillusion is extremely hard to rise out of. I relate, there. A distraction, no matter how amazing, isn’t always enough. My closest friends and family are 1,073 miles away from me and I miss them so much while at the same time I’m so exhausted that pushing myself to keep in touch by phone or message is sometimes irrationally difficult.

It sounds like a lot of us have been feeling atomized in this thread. Here’s to doing our best to change that, starting with this healing community, and then extending that energy to the places and the people we call home.

Now that the adrenaline of the launch has settled down a bit, I only feel an enormous amount of gratitude and joy. It's a beautiful era to live in, grab the ones you love and tell them. Appreciate the things we have, they can be gone anytime.

Lot of wonderful stories here. Thank you to everyone who has shared their story—they're so heartwarming and it made my weekend reading through them. Many of you have such amazing stories of perserverence and resilience. <3

I'm very thankful for this new era of the band. This was the band that got me into music as a preteen in 2009, and through following them as a fan I was encouraged to learn about the business and attend school in Nashville to work in the business side of the music industry. I also met my wife while at that school and we just had our first child.

I also met so many of you wonderful people here through the forums, and particularly with @Wasabi GOD , @IGibbedYEIH , and @Modern Guitar God (Tony V.), we started chatting in chats outside of the forums and became friends. We tragically lost Tony in 2022, but all three of them were friends to me throughout all of the weird times without LP and even the wider happenings of the world in the past few years. I really can't imagine being a Linkin Park fan without them, and I wish Tony could be here to see this era. LPA has so many great people, and I hope to maybe meet some of you one day. The community around this band is incredible.

I had placed Linkin Park in the category of legacy artists and assumed that their days of making music were behind them. I’m so glad they’ve come back and even more glad to see how happy and energized they seem in this new era. This music will always have a special place in my heart!

Yeah, its kinda crazy how "fate" plays. Never in my biggest imagination i would have thought how important people on the internet can become to me.
Still feel that this place does good things to my mental health.

Wow. Thank you for this. You've encapsulated every feeling and thought I've had about Linkin Park and the past years since Chester's passing.

I, too, am filled with joy again. Excited to see the Community in full swing and sharing love and excitement. It's really special and makes the Lp community the best out there.

Keep rocking, I'll be with yall

And thank YOU LP Association for being my one and only connection to the band in the past years with almost no LP to report about.

    I always looked you up
from time to time to see if there was something there, hoping for signs of life from the band.

This place is my ultimate point of reference when it comes to LP and I love being here and seeing all the stories.

Amazing words. The album is a gift, I didn't expect a LP album in 2024, I didn't expect a new LP album without Chester to be that good and I didn't expect them to go big again. We are so fucking back.

Glad to have you back <3

It's so good to see old faces again with a new era of the band, after all this time in hiatus.

Not gonna lie, some days I wake up with the fear that something bad will come this way again, and we are losing the band once more. It goes quick, but can't help to feel it. Then I think how happy they are again, and how fortunate we are. And value again every single minute.

Funny I see this now... just last night I was writing about when my best friends moved across the country just a month or so after the lockdown finally let up

I think another thing to be thankful for is it's reunited a lot of folks in this community.
