They would probably make an edited version of the cd too. Many bands do that.

I know they do, but if they did make an album with swearing in it, I would want that one. Oh well it's a personal problem I suppose.

I think swearing on live shows is enough...If they would have curses on their albums, it would have ruined the songs, cuz LP use alot of high-leveled nice words, that probably doesn't go well with swearing
    (my opinion)...

I wouldn't mind if they did swear in their stuff but it just wouldn't sound the same. All my friends don't like them just cuz they dont swear but you don't have to resort to bad language in your songs to be a good band ^_^

    what is swearing?
cuss words are just words. words are used to communicate. so far, linkin park have found no use for those words to send their message. one f**k could be equivalent to a whole verse... it's just a very emotional word... the fact that they have managed without it and many other cuss words is pretty amazing... but if they bring a few in, it just means they have more to say... i dunno. i'm weird. but so long as the music is great and the message is right, the words don't matter... to me... tooooo meeeee... du du du du... NOW I HAVE A SONG STUCK IN MY HEAD!!! :argh:

If they did it too much, I'd prob wouldn't like it. But I curse when I talk. Even when talking to my mom. But like I don't do it essesively. (I can't spell for ####) So I wouldn't lose interest in the band if they started cursing. As long at their songs still have meaning.

Edited versions suck. I bought the MTV Headbanger's Ball CD not knowing it was edited (I should have assumed so since it was MTV and didnt have a PA sticker, but I didn't) and there's nothing more annoying than listening to a song and hearing stuff blanked out, or replaced with words that don't make sense (For example, Marylin Manson's "This is the new shit" becomes "This is the new hit" which doesnt make any sense)

I think that does make sense :wth:

And I wouldn't care if LP started to swear in their songs as long as the album/song is still kick ass...

If they did swear, I would still like them but it wouldn't be the same!
I can't imagine Chester screaming the f word and Mike doing a little rap about boobs, booties and babes in bikinis...ERGH!

i would probobly f**king agree with you f**kers here, if linkin f**king park started to f**king swear i would proboly still like the f**ks, but it might stop those f**king little teenies parents from letting them listen to lp, which would do lp out of money

I'm not thinking that they'll change their ways like that,
Linkin Park already has millions upon millions of fans, and it's not worth taking the risk of losing lots of fans, in order to gain a few swear-lovers. I think that they'll just stick to what we know today, and the only place they'll swear is live.
