People aren't "obsessed" with A Thousand Suns. Most of us just recognize that it's the most Linkin Park has pushed their creative boundaries and we want them to go further. This is not debatable or subjective in any way. Whether you like it or not is another matter; it's an indisputable fact that A Thousand Suns was their most experimental work, even though still fairly mild in its experimentation, and a good number of people here want Linkin Park to take that idea and push the envelope even more.
People here listen to and talk about LP. Not a stretch for them to mention their favourite album(s) at times
So what your saying is THP wasnt an experiment? Actually its more of an experiment than ats, becuz i always said LP could make a heavy ass album when nobody thought it could be done and they did it they pushed them selves to actually rock out
I think the only "experimental" thing about THP was the "lets let the worlds biggest rock band actually release a rock album and see what happens" attitude.
Your joking about Adele would be seriously interesting. I was just confused by the way you mentioned "Mike's old rapping". I agree with you, that they should build off the songs you mentioned. E: We all know that they wont go in another direction like THP, its LP

i cant beleive lp r going back 2 electro pop shit!! OMG!! ...on a serious note, boy I am hyped. Interesting that they've posted two photos back to back, I can't remember from previous cycles, when did they start posting all those pics with guitars in them for THP? I feel like a new single is only 2-3 months away now (even though I agree, I'm hoping they spend a little longer with this one!)
Single? That's too early for a single. They aim for a late 2016 release. Even 'The Catalyst' was released around August 2010 then ATS dropped by September 2010.
Well, GATS was released in early March, the album came in middle June. I also think we will get a early single in April.
