Think we shouldn't be surprised if LP decides to play a new song on their upcoming shows in the next few weeks. I don't know, it's just a hunch.
YES!! I wonder what could they be singing there, can't wait to find out. Also, at this point in stage, still recording, phew. But I can see the progress in the way that last year most pics were about instruments, now we're seeing vocals and and even a mixer, which I think is a natural and logical way to proceed. Hope we get some more news soon.
It would be amazing if they were posting these photos weeks after they were taken. But seriously though, gang vocals are awesome.
I thought EXACTLY same thing, if they're trying to don't hype like was in ATS for example, this probability its plausible.
They also originally did gang vocals on Victimized, who knows if these will make the album? I hope they will, provided they're good, unlike the Victmized gang vocals.
Where did you hear the gang vocals on Victimized? I didn't see anything like that, just what was shown in their "Making of Living Things" documentary with "Battle Axe"..
EDIT: Oops, didn't fully read your comment, you referred to this. Sorry! They didn't make the final cut, it was originally an idea that got scrapped. Jump to 11:25 to see what I'm talking about.
Gang vocals can either be really good or really cheesy/bad IMO. Hopefully these ones turn out good if they make them onto the final cut (although LP usually has good gang vocals).
Yeah, I think that LP have done a job good of being tasteful with gang vocals - you know, like, not having them on every single song for several albums straight. There are bands, believe it or not, that utterly fail at that kind of restraint
