Interesting pic... Intro Thrash ...? Big Intro, change of vibe... Still vague, but is something afterall
Looks like the GUITARZZZ posts are true, and they could be doing a few heavy songs. I wonder what Joe's part is in this song but it has a heavy intro and outro, maybe vocals haven't entered the mix yet
I might be wrong but I think that you guys missed this one from earlier this month: "Experimenting with my new rig setup. Going to bring the heat #traktor #nativeinstruments #linkinpark #surfacepro2 #microsoft #vestax #ortofon" (source)
I believe those are Joe's notes on a song from a listening session, not necessarily something he had a part in creating.
If Joe's already setting up a new rig setup that's very likely for the new tour. Which...could....mean the new album is nearing its finish.
I'm glad I know close to nothing about this album but I can't help but wonder, what in the world is Linkin Park doing? I don't mean that as a rhethorical question, I'm genuinely intrigued about all this.
Duh. I mean about the specific sound they're trying to achieve this time. And like I said on that post, I'm glad I don't know much about the album (we know they've said some stuff on interviews), but I'm still curious on what exactly is the goal musically wise.
The picture was before the last 3 shows, was it used there? This is what makes me happy. We have no idea what it's gonna be, but it doesn't sound like LT part 2.
Oh that might be it. I don't keep up with the band's instagrams so I can't keep up with the timing of things. It's still possible that he's setting up for the new album since the only new song that was added for A Light That Never Comes.
At this point, there's only two options: either they're extremely close to finishing the album, or they're barely even starting it.
It would be really evil to be teasing like this if the album/lead single wasn't coming relatively soon. As in probably early March or so.
^ that's realistic IMO. Way too soon... there should be some news or updates on the album by now, if that was the case. they wouldn't keep it quiet.
Yep. I personnaly think new single will be released near end of may, before the summer tour starts. And then, an album release end of july/ beginning of august. Sooner doesn't seem realistic, and later seems...well, too late
Is it just me who thinks this album could release in May/June? Wasn't it in April 2012 that Burn It Down was announced and released, along with the announcement of Living Things? An announcement in March/April could see a May/June release again.
Well, that photo was posted on January 4, a week or so before the two Las Vegas shows and the LA show after that.
