Its on the UK iTunes store now but you can still listen to it on the USA store. Surprisingly it isnt on THP page, click on 'Linkin Park' under The Hunting Party and it'll take you to their page where it lists all their albums. At the top of the page there is a box, it should say listen to The Hunting Party. Hope this helps, if you're still stuck feel free to message me!
Uninstall iTunes completely and reinstall. That's what it took for the links on the front page to work and First Play to open for me. Also allowed me to set my iTunes radio to "explicit" so I could hear the fucks. You may have a corrupt iTunes install.
Mark the Graves just ended, i was expecting a great performance from chester, theres nothing impressive about the notes he hits there, he hits those same notes in a thousand other LP songs. but i liked the track.
Linkin Park: The Hunting Party - Sponsored by American Express Seriously iTunes? You couldn't limit the American Express interruptions for this album?
Just got done with my entire first listen through. They have changed the game, but not in a sense of Rock music as we know it but the band that we all know & love...they changed things for themselves...this is that spark that we need in today's rock scene...Fuck it, it's what we need to inject into the music scene all together! My jaw was left on the ground and I'm still just wrapping my head around the fact that this is LP. Always reinventing themselves and maintaining that high energy they love to bring to their music & fans. If you can't bring yourself to see what this album stands for and understand what the goal was to accomplish with it, then you've missed the boat...or maybe just on the wrong boat lol. Music with heart and meaning right here. Anywho that's my two cents...Now back to the music, Round 2!
Finished listening to the entire stream and have to say this has to be one of the top albums of the year. I think the stream is now available worldwide as I didn't have to change my iTunes to US.
Yeah unfortunately, as has been my experience with Apple products...sometimes upgrading their software doesn't happen too cleanly. Occasionally a reinstall does wonders.
A Line In The Sand is by far and away the best track on this album. Bravo LP! You've done it again!! Another great album! Only songs i'm iffy about are AFN and Drawbar. And i see what those who had early previews meant by UIG an FM fitting into the album. They are a much needed cool down from the rest of the album. Too early to rate it but great job LP!
My Impressions: Keys To The Kingdom: A- All For Nothing: B+ Guilty All The Same: B War: C Wastelands: B Until It's Gone: B- Rebellion: A- Mark The Graves: C+ Drawbar: A Final Masquerade: A+ A Line In The Sand: B+ In my mind, this is a really solid album. Good to hear some intensity and energy in LP's music once again. Although I still consider ATS to be their best, I can't tell if I like this more than I do Hybrid Theory to take 2nd. Either way, this is a really good album and you can hear the difference in structure compared to their other works. There are a couple of songs that I didn't care for, but a strong effort nonetheless. Notable Tracks: Final Masquerade Keys To The Kingdom All For Nothing Rebellion Misses: War - Just seemed too clustered for my taste. Mark The Graves - All over the place. 3.8/5
My verdict on first listen: I hate the first half, and love the second half (if you switch All for Nothing and ALITS). This is extremely disturbing for me as a hardcore LP fan. I'm probably going to untick or just skip KTTK and War, and this is the first time I'm doing this on a LP album. I guess I just like the softer songs. Least favourite songs: War and KTTK Favourites: Mark the Graves, Rebellion, Final Masquerade.
