I want to see this movie. I liked the first one, and I don't usually like super hero movies, so that's saying something. So I will try to go within the next few weeks. This one seems funnier, from the trailers I've seen. For instance, the elevator scene some of you were talking about where he says his suit gives him a wedgie (my humor can be somewhat childish, just so you know)
I saw the movie last night. Thought it was alright. It wasn't bad and it wasn't great, I think they just drug it out too much. But I must say the Lego version of spiderman may be better then the real movie.
I saw it at the midnight showing over here in the UK, and even saw it again in the same day, I'm a huge Spidey fan. I really enjoyed the movie and particularly enjoyed how the focus on comedy was emphasised alot more. I'm sure i'll be seeing it again sometime soon. Just got to wait till 2007 now for the sequel.
Hey, maybe while you wait you can read all the Spidey Comics! Then when the 3rd movie comes out, you'll be a total Spidey expert.
I saw the movie about a week ago, I really enjoyed it and it met my expectations. It had a good variety of genres too. If you haven't seen it yet, I really recommend it.
I've seen this movie. It's very good: thrilling and satisfying. I recommend it to anyone that hasn't seen it yet.
i really liked this movie. i thought it was better than the first one. the only part i didnt like was the bit at the end with mary jane running around. overall though it was a really awesome movie!
one of my teachers was a total Spiderman nut..like, I'm not even joking. His classrom was literally covered with Spiderman everything, ceiling to floor. He had parts of the comic books over all the cabinets and stuff, and he took a personal day so he could go see Spiderman 1 on opening day One of the drawbacks to this one though was the ending. CHEESYNESS X203455. How lame is "Go get 'em tiger!" Seriously. And yeah, I think this one lacked humor, but it might've been due to more violence, probably. I also wasn't a fan of this villan, I don't know. He came at the wrong times..especially like in the train, lmao. I found out a couple days ago that Willem Defoe (Green Goblin) lived in my city and also went to my middle school, and my dad knew him
Well, that line is a classic line from the comics and Sam Raimi wanted to stay as true to the comics as much as he could. Mary Jane always called Peter "Tiger".
I thought the film was alright. I thought it was a good sequel to the first film, and it's helped to give the series a good grounding. It does kinda make you want to see Spiderman 3 afterwards anyway. I liked Dr. Octopus, I thought he was a good character, though he was perhaps a little bit underused in the middle. He was off screen for ages it seemed at one point. The problem I had with the film mainly was that it seemed far too long really. It just seemed to drag on by the end. I thought some of the scenes were just too long. The broom cupboard scene at the start for instance & the scene in the lift, by all means do the joke, the concept of the lift scene is funny, but it just seemed too long, I thought that the scenes like that should have been half as long if not shorter. That said I did enjoy the action of the film, I thought most of the action scenes were good and the train in particular was very well done. They did just try to cram in a bit too much though, I think I counted 4 storylines going on at once, at one stage. Anyway...It's a fairly good film, I wont buy the DVD, but it's probably worth renting .
