I own the JT - Justified album, nothing to be ashamed of . I also have MP3's of Spice girls (Viva Forever), backstreet boys, Hilary Duff (Come Clean only ) and other pop artist and i don't give a shit what other people think. I even have Kelly Clarkson album, and the Lindsay Lohans album downloaded.
I don't know why people are ashamed to like Justin Timberlake. "Justified" just might be one of the greatest dance/pop albums created in the last 10 years. It's very, very good. I'm like Chris. I have a wide taste in music compared to myself last year, therefore I'm not ashamed of liking anything anymore.
Hilary Duff - Fly I think I have a very wide taste in music. I could go from 50 Cent to Rush to Backstreet Boys to Gorillaz to Nas to Queen and then to Madonna in a matter of minutes.
Classical Music to Kanye West to Linkin Park to J-Pop. Owned. I don't see why people would be ashamed of the music they listen to... there should only be two types of music in your mind: music you like, and music that you don't like. The end.
It's not that I'm ashamed to like certain songs. But some songs are just uncharacteristic for me to enjoy. I'm not afraid to tell people I like them though. I'm known as the rock dude in my group of folk, so I get some goofy looks, but that's okay. I'll add a few songs to my list... The Game - Hate it or Love it All Ludacris Justin Timberlake - Cry Me A River and his first single, whatever it was called A lot of BSB shit, especially the more R&B and less Pop songs Clipse - Grindin' Evanescense - My Immortal and the rest of 'Fallen' Brand New - The Quiet Things And all country music. I don't think an individual should be ashamed of a song of a genre or by some artist they think is "not cool". It is not like you have to impress someone with the type of music that you like. Well, that is just my opinion so don't get offended .
Yeah, i really hate that the people who listen to a particular genre of music are labeled as something, and they're stuck with it. And it usually applies to EVERYTHING: clothing, school, social life....its crazy! Individuals are people who can listen to any song they like, regardless of whether its punk, pop, rock, soul.....whatever. Like Minus Xero said: there should be two types of music: songs you like, and songs you dont like. increase the peace!
