Hm I think Papercut, My December, Numb, Breaking The Habit, In Between, New Divide and Waiting For The End.
Papercut, Faint, P5hng Me A*wy, QWERTY, A Place For My Head, and Points of Authority. Never heard Hit the Floor live. I can't find it anywhere.
This should have been a massive hit and staple of every live show.
In that recording, the only one that's readily available for listening, the only thing that's wrong with the performance, IMO, is Chester's sub-par screaming. If his screaming there was on the same level as his screaming on other songs (for that time), "Hit The Floor" would've been about as awesome as "Papercut" live. I admit, though, that that might have something to do with the recording itself
I've only been to one LP concert, but from what I've heard, Bleed It Out is far better live than on the album. I feel like that could be true with a few more songs on Living Things since they've said they made this album with a more energetic feel to do well at concerts, or something along those lines.
It is. It's like "Bleed It Out" was simply made to be played/heard live rather than on a studio recording. Though not at all bad in and of itself, the album version is completely and utterly inferior to its live counterpart. IMO, that's not true for any other Linkin Park song.
Pushing Me Away (Piano Version) > Pushing Me Away album version The Messenger (sometimes) Empty Spaces Bleed it Out
I forgot to add last time. ''Bleed It Out'' ''When They Come For Me'' ''Hands Held High'' ''Papercut'' ''And One'' ''Figure.09 (with PR04 transition into FTI)'' Those are all better live, IMO.
Bleed It Out, QWERTY, When They Come For Me, P5hng Me A*wy, The Messenger, The Catalyst and Wretches And Kings.
I don't really think it was that great live. The performance you linked to sounds decent, but more often then not it didn't sound really great. Chester usually had problems hitting some of those notes and Brad doesn't do to great a job at doing the guitar solo live. I don't agree to much with Wretches and Kings. Mike always sounds out of breath while doing his rapping parts and Chester usually screws up doing the samples live and also gets lyrics messed up. The song sounds no where near as powerful live either (imo). That being said, it definetely gets you pumped when your at the concert and they open with something like that.
I usually prefer studio over live, however songs that are great live are definitely Bleed it Out, Papercut, QWERTY, Wretches & Kings, High Voltage, and The Catalyst. I actually didn't have TC on this list until just now when I saw the performance at Red Square again. I forgot how good it sounds live.
During there 2nd night Sydney concert for A Thousand Suns, Wretches and Kings really stuck out as a great live song. Burning in the Skies wasn't too good live and seemed like a toilet break song lol. Wretches has a big sound to it which just keeps building.
