It's Busta Rhymes ft. Linkin Park produced by Cool & Dre, Collision Course was Jay-Z & Linkin Park, produced by Mike Shinoda. One is obviously more Linkin Park. Back to the song now please.
I can't really say anything about this song, that hasn't already been said. One of their best songs, if not their best song.
It was indeed written and recorded for a Busta Rhymes album but, ultimately, it wasn't included on that album. What?
Why does everyone love this song so much? I don't dislike it, but if you guys have your stupid hate over All For Nothing, Wastelands and Until it's Gone can't I get any agreement on the fact that it starts off boring? i thought I'd be able to share opinions with these people on here, but everybody is saying it's their best song and none of them talk about how boring it is in 2/3 of the song!!?!??! Thank you! All LP songs song way better loud, but All For Nothing does have a very good sound loud, and I'm surprised they didn't do it live, the guitar solo and the 'You Say' part would be good live.
What you call "boring" is simply "slower than most Linkin Park songs". And whether you like it or not, most people appreciate that kind of music much more than songs like All For Nothing and Wastelands, which we've all heard 14 years ago. - And stop fucking double posting, seriously. There's an edit button there for a reason, use it.
Well , i wasnt years ago also not that into that song , now i love the whole one. Its about opinions and how they changed with the time. And the "stupid" hate for All For Nothing is, atleast for ma, just a running gag Boring is also a kind of opinion. SO its different from everyones point of view
When I first heard "Little Things", I was fifteen and, at that point, I'd spent most of my music-listening years blasting "Hybrid Theory" and "Meteora". I was pretty surprised that I was able to appreciate the song. To answer your question, we don't find it boring. There's soft, intimate acoustic strumming meshing with distant lo-fi electronic loops, cool guitar tones and raw drum sounds playing understated-but-interesting patterns and progressions. Rather than sounding mechanical and lifeless, all of the instrument parts sound really dynamic and expressive. Subtle moments (which you can actually hear clearly because the album's mixing is pretty good) gracefully ride into heavier parts. These details alone actually make "Little Things" more exciting to me when it's compared to most of the material on the band's earliest albums. On top of all of this, Chester's singing comes across pretty heartfelt to me and I think that the weight of the lyrics really comes through well. What he's singing about is so far off from trying to relate to thirteen-year-olds in Cleveland complaining about having to do homework -- in 2007, that was a massive breath of fresh air for many fans.
i never used to like this song. i think i thought it was too soft & full of feeling. who the fuck wants to listen to that shit? m e
TLTGYA still to this day is the best song they've written. Actually giving the song the time it needs to build it self and moving into a huge climax was such a fresh thing for them back in '07. It's fucking criminal that they haven't played it live in 6 years. This.
This isn't a bad song, but it certainly isn't the best. You have got to admit that the bridge and outro are really quite cool, though.
I enjoy the fact it progresses slowly from an acoustic over a sampled drum track to an electric and drums. I don't find the intro boring, I just find the outro to be the most standout part of the song. That being said, it's only at about a 20ish on my list.
This song give me feelings here. How soft the song is, the lyrics, its progression... it's one of the great atmospheric songs they've ever done and a good closer to Minutes to Midnight.
Yeah, and it makes me really happy Although, I'm pretty sure WFTE will do this great too(or maybe even better). So many people love that song. I'm predicting it.
Maybe The Catalyst aswell. Anyway I'm really looking forward to move on to A Thousand Suns just for that reason.
