Saosin's full-length major-label debut album leaked earlier this week (I think it might've been yesterday). For those of you who've downloaded the album and couldn't wait for its release (like me; although, I'm still going to buy it), what're your thoughts? Personally, I think it's brilliant. My favorite song is "You're Not Alone," with "It's Far Better to Learn" coming in second. I'm not sure I like the new "Bury Your Head" so much, but it's alright for the most part. The new version of "I Wanna Hear Another Fast Song" ("Sleepers") is alright, too. It's not as good as its demo. Every other song is ace. All of them could be singles, I think. So what do you think?
I'm trying to hold back, but I've been giving in bit by bit. Cove is doing fine in Anthony's place, there's a point where everyone has to stop comparing the two. Voices really impressed me, and the clip of the new Bury Your Head didn't sound that bad. The songs I've allowed myself to hear - Come Close, Sleepers, and Follow And Feel, are all very solid. I cant wait to buy this album and play the hell out of it.
It's a really great album. Probably in my top 10. "Voices", "It's Far Better To Learn", "Come Close", and "Some Sense Of Security" are my favorites.
The bonus track on itunes/japanese release is really good too. It's called Let Go Control. It's a lot more upbeat/faster tempo than the other songs on the album. The album itself is ridiculously good. It's took a while for them to release the album, and now it's finally out.
I think this is in my top 3 of the year. It's been a long time coming, but what an incredible album, not a single unlistenable song. The bonus track is so awesome, it totally should have been on the final cut.
Just downloaded the album yesterday, and I've got a new favorite non-metal band. Every song seems like it could be a single, but I have to say my favorites by far are Come Close and Some Sense of Security. Saosin just have the most amazingly catchy tunes that make you think "...wow". That's all I could say when I listened to the album.
i like Voices, bury your head, and a few others, (can't think of their names right now), saosin is such a out of the ordinary band in my opinion, ive never heard anybody like em, thats prolly why i like em so much

I can't stop listening to this album. It's so good that I just can't turn it off. It's easily my favorite album released this year. I love all of the songs but if I had to pick my top three favorites they would be "It's Far Better To Learn", "Come Close" and "I Never Wanted To".
