    I think he's trying to say that Linkin Park do political lyrics in the same way Green Day does political lyrics, in that they just make vague lines about the criminals and the wars and the hypocrites etc. Like most of their lyrics, vague to the point where it seems like they were written not to specifically convey a point but to get the broadest group of people to identify with the most basic emotion. Which isn't bad, necessarily, but a lot of people think it's pretty cheap.

    That said, cheap "politically conscious" lyrics still beat the piss out of I'VE BECOME SO NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMB, so I can't knock them but so much for it.
