I just say to myself, "Why buy a $16+ album with nothing extra? It has 13 tracks, so why is it that much money? No DVD? No enhanced content? Fuck that."

The Mars Volta's Frances The Mute was $9.99, but I bet you the new NIN album will be $16+. Neither has bonus content. Both are the same in terms of length.

It's bullshit. Fuck going after BitTorrent & P2P...lower the fucking prices!

Indeed. CD prices are a joke these days. When artists put a DVD in to encourage people to buy the price just goes up about $10 in Australia.

Last CD i bought was.....The Offspring - Splinter. And what a waste of $20 that was. 32 minutes of music.

    true man,

Download is just a way for us people who don't have the time, the money to buy a CD jsut for one song. iTunes, people don't feel like paying. But then there is a bad side of pirating (mostly the who download thing is bad) is that people just do this to burn music and sell it. So once the RIAA thinks of a good way to get songs without paying like doing a good deed and you get like a card with a special # and you type that in and get a free song. (which is almost simular to the pepsi promo)
