Remix of "Blackout" To Be Featured On The Underworld: Awakening Soundtrack

    Per Chester Bennington's Official Site, and our sources at Lakeshore Entertainment we are able to confirm that a remix of Linkin Park's "Blackout" (by world-renowned artist Renholdër) will be appearing on the official Underworld: Awakening Soundtrack. Below is the official tracklist:

    06. Watch Yourself (Renholdër Remix) - Ministry
    07. Trip the Darkness (Ben Weinman Remix) - Lacuna Coil
    08. Young Blood (Renholdër Remix) - The Naked and Famous
    09. It Rapes All In Its Path - Black Light Burns
    10. The Posthumous Letter - William Control
    11. How’m I Supposed to Die- Civil Twilight
    12. Consolation Prize - & SONS
    13. Liar (Revenant mix by 8mm) – 8MM
    14. You Won't See The Light - Ryan T.Hope of The Lifeline feat. Geno Lenardo
    15. Bottle of Pain - Combichrist
    16. Intruder – Collide
    17. Exit Wounds (Justin Lassen Remix) - Justin Lassen feat. Silent Fury

    The tracklist is expected to be released on January 17th, 2012 and is currently available for pre-order on Amazon.

    Never heard of this movie, but I guess it's always nice to have your music out there so good for Linkin Park.

    You've never seen the Underworld series? They were doing the whole Vampires Vs Werewolves thing years before Twilight. And better too :lol:.

    How has no one heard of this movie????
    It's not the most popular series but still, you must have at least seen trailers of these films.
    And I wonder how long the remix "may" even be in the film for if at all

    Yep same guy. Perhaps "world-renowned" may have been a little overkill, but he's worked with so many huge artists, and been involved with so many bands/cds/remixes that you've probably heard something that he's helped with and not even realized it. He's a great musician.

    I quite like the "Underworld" films and Lohner always provides decent remixes for these soundtracks. :) I'm looking forward to this one

    I'm surprised by the lack of Maynard James Keenan on the new soundtrack given the extensive inclusion of Maynard/Puscifer/A Perfect Circle in the previous films.

    BTW and kind of off topic, but everyone should go check out Puscifers new album "Conditions of My Parole", it's great.

    Awesome, now I get to drive deep into "Underworld" territory thanks to LP. xD even though "Morning After" did get me into the movies for a while (never saw them, but was interested.) I put "Blackout" in my custom Final Destination 5 soundtrack though, but this is fine. x)

    I've seen all the movies, can't wait for this. And yeah screw twilight. This is way better.
    I like the Morning After on this better then the one on Out of Ashes.
    Can't wait to here the Blackout Remix.

    To me a surprise is the track by Justin Lassen that guy remixed Faint as a fan track never thought that he would be famous

    I actually think Justin Lassen was big when the Faint/ITE remixes came out. His LP remixes just sounded "unprofessional" cause he didn't have the multitracks.

    I would rather have official remixes from Linkin Park not by other artists...
