This. The mix wasn't great . Did they really play it twice? on another note, some people say chester really sucked tonigh, but imo Chester sounded great. I honestly love the live version of this song more than the album version. Vocals too.
They played ND and BID twice because it was for a TV broadcast. This wasn't a true tour date, but instead something done/filmed for television...which means the band does numerous takes to get it right. Performing twice also allows the show to get different camera angles to use in the "live" broadcast (even though it was actually recorded hours prior). So no its not a stupid setlist, it's called "made for TV" .
I hate when people complain about shit that they don't even know anything about! I was there and I can say that the it was a good crowd. What they show on TV is like a minute of the hour and half that we were there. Plus when they pause in between songs and are filming just crowd reaction before and after a song, over and over it kind of take the spark away from the performance. Also, the setlist....its not easy to figure out that they performed multiple times to film it. Its not a actual concert setlist. What I can tell you is the audio was bad during the first performance of BID. Some instruments were hard to hear. They performed new divide twice because Mr. Hahn screwed up the bridge. He started too late. Anyway, moral of the story; dont assume when you are not actually there to witness. You know what happens when you assume...
That was already established sir! How do you know they were nervous? You stated that as being fact. I was there and they were actually having a great time. They were interacting with the crowd and joking. Especially Chester and Mike. If that's what you call making a judgement based on observation then...fail!
Nah I'm talking about the songs themselves. Don't sound as "filled" as they do in the studio versions.
