Red Hot Chili Peppers - I'm With You

I'm pretty pissed they didn't use the video Kreayshawn directed, and instead went for a boring rooftop performance piece instead.

 

After 2 listens the new album sounds great.

 

The new album is ok. On par with the best with Stadium Arcadium, which would normally be great, but after all that hype about a new direction and "how it's like we're a completely different band now" they went on and on about, I expected different.

On it's own merits however, it's a-ok. Can't say I'm too disappointed.

 

Painfully average.

My friend is a hardcore RHCP fan, and when I asked him what he thinks of this album, he said: "Meh." And I said: "Agree." True story

 

I think it's a pretty dope album. Favorites so far:

Brendan's Death Song
Annie Wants a Baby
Ethiopia
Police Station
Did I Let You Know

 

Yeah, I'm digging this a lot. Brendan's Death Song is my favorite I think.
