Who cares if he/she describes it as a new low for LP? It's an opinion and it shouldn't bother anyone. If you're to the point where you let the subjectivity of other peoples negative or positives opinions start troubling you, you're doing something wrong.

Just to clarify, I'm not specifically calling anyone out for anything. I was using those users as an example of what I dislike in "reviews". I don't think anyone should hate this album, but I don't care if you couldn't give two shits.

It's pointless to say this is a new low for the band. Recharged is a remix album, not an actual studio album.

Personally, I enjoyed every bit of it. I'm not into EDM and what not, but I do have an open mind toward it. It shows how versatile the band is too, i.e. Mike's remixes. As much as people want the "glory" days of Hybrid Theory/Meteora...the better question is do we actually want that? I prefer they keep experimenting. They've never restricted theirself to a single identity. It's why I love them as much as I do.

This album is a pleasant surprise. I'm open minded when it comes to music and i love that the band tried this genre of music. I can care less about all the Burn It Down's and Roads Untravelled. Everything else is really good! I hope LP 6 is as crazy, surprising, different and weird as ATS!

Can we just clarify that the band reaching out to other artists for a mostly EDM remix album is not "experimentation"? Regardless of how you feel about the album, I really don't think this qualifies. It's a cool collaboration remix project.

I wouldn't say that "Recharged" is any kind of sign of where the band is in relation to "Hybrid Theory" and "Meteora" simply because it's a remix project

Entire album is horrible, not a single positive thing about it. The fan tribute that LPA put together is better than this. By a lot.

Very hard to believe the guys that shat this out where the same ones Reanimation was by.

Don't you lie. Mike's verses. Come on bro. Bro come on.

Also, what'd you expect? From the get-go it was evident that this would not be another Reanimation. Nothing was re-recorded, and it was clearly to be an EDM heavy production.

Let me just put it this way, Korn did a better job with dubstep than LP did with this.

I really disliked it at first but then it grew on me. I got into EDM like a year ago so it wasn't really the EDM part of it that bothered me. I just didn't seem to like it and I can't give any specific reasons why. After listening to it a couple more times I've decided to just call it an acquired taste. Very glad I acquired it.

Oh I agree. I meant as a more general comment toward where they're going in style, not solely based on the remix album :)

I'm sorry but LPA's Reliving Things was far better than this.

Just listening to the second track now, so no comments on the overall quality of the album, but i've liked the songs I have heard so far and I love the direction this album has gone in (i like EDM a lot, and it's nice to hear LP in different styles).. but anyway I guess you're right, the "EDM shit" is the same as the "Rap shit" was seen back then.. people will probably eventually grow to like it and realise they've done something different, even if it's not their cup of tea. I'll probably like it a lot :).

Mike's remix of Victimized is the only track that made me go:

    It's an okay album.

    Let's dive into this...

    1. A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES - 8.5/10 - Just so catchy.
    2. CASTLE OF GLASS (M. Shinoda Remix) - 9.5/10 - The ending so awesome. Couldn't have done it any better.
    3. LOST IN THE ECHO (KillSonik Remix) - 7/10 - Some really good parts and not so good parts.
    4. VICTIMIZED (M. Shinoda Remix) - 8/10 - Another example of Mike's amazing musical talents.
    5. I'LL BE GONE (Vice Remix feat. Pusha T) - 8/10 - 2 new rap verses? I'm in!
    6. LIES GREED MISERY (Dirtyphonics Remix) - 2/10 - Absolute Garbage
    7. ROADS UNTRAVELED (Rad Omen Remix feat. Bun B) - 8/10 - Another solid remix with an awesome new rap verse.
    8. POWERLESS (Enferno Remix) - 8/10 - Blew me away.
    9. BURN IT DOWN (Tom Swoon Remix) - 8/10 - Pretty catchy.
    10. UNTIL IT BREAKS (Datsik Remix) - 3/10 - Just gets worse as it goes on.
    11. SKIN TO BONE (Nick Catchdubs Remix feat. Coby B. Ware and Ryu) - 8.5/10 - Cody, Ryu, and Mike killed it.
    12. I'LL BE GONE (Schoolboy Remix) - 6/10 - Mixed feelings about this track.
    13. UNTIL IT BREAKS (Money Mark Headphone Remix) - 8.5/10 - This track definitely stands out from most other tracks.
    14. A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES (Rick Rubin Reboot) - 9/10 - So relaxing, just love this "reboot."
    15. BURN IT DOWN (Paul Van Dyk Remix) - 4/10 - Unnecessarily long.

RECHARGED - 8/10 - Much better than I expected. I'm open to music and I don't listen to much EDM so this was a surprise.
