Really interesting voice for that particular flavor of metal, feels kinda nostalgic in a nice way. They probably have a track or two I’d really like. This one’s a 7/10.

 

Sleep Token is a project that caught my attention in the past and I definitely still want to look further into them. This particular song didn't really do it for me, though. After the first listen I would've given it a 6 or 6.5/10, after a second listen it felt like the unpleasant parts were more dominant ~4/10. Particularly Vessel's singing/enunciation(?) felt annoying to me, which kind of stands in the center of the song. Could very well change in the future! I did like these lyrics—oh, when I am done dancing to alarm bells / no wonder my ears are still ringing / and I am done fighting off change / no wonder my arms are still swinging—

 

These kind of vocals don't work for me at all. 2/10

 

1/10, not a big insrumental guy and that instrumental was kinda bland.



Speaking of Linkin park partnering with Riot games, this is my favorite Riot games song. Although the lyrics to this song are basically the description of a Valorant match so if you don't play and watch competitive Valorant like I do then you might not enjoy it as much as some of the LoL world's songs.

 

This definitely sounds like a song made for a video game. Imagine Dragons-core 4/10

 

As far as small fish go, that was pretty good. 7/10.

Ayy, I’ll take it. Oh Bother is my best bud’s band. Very small time with small time problems. They’re feeling it out.

Sounds like.. Dead Letter Circus a little. In a good way. But my interest in that flavor of tone and temper has come and gone. 6/10

 

7/10 I like the production, really cool synths and drums
