Sure though! I mean today was hot and dry and now it's a bit nippy.

 

God, I can't sleep in past 7am. I've been up by 8am for like a month. There has to be ONE day I can sleep in! And today was a fucking hoiday! and no, I was up at 6:48 in the fucking morning! ARGH!

I don't mean to be disrespectful with what i am about to say but, why the hell does our school have to shove all this depressing shit on us before Rememberance Day? Like today, in assembly, we had war letters and a presentation on Rememberance Day with depressing pictures and stuff. I don't need that. I have my poppy, i will wear it tomorrow and show my respect, i don't need to be depressed in school about it. I can't be dealing with all that emotion.

 

Well, the depressing things could help people remember how horrible war really is.


Here, no one is even sad. it's just an excuse to get a day off and drink your ass off.

At least you guys actually try to remember.

 

Patrick is funny though. Very much of any idiot.

 

Yeah, i know that they're just trying to get us to remember, but it's like we're being depressed into submission and sent on a guilt trip if we don't get a poppy or something.

It's starting to turn into that here too. Everyone's all happy now that "oh, we get a holiday next week" (as it's on a saturday)...and nobody really seems to care what the day actually means.
