I get everything sorted, all my ducks in a row, and then they want something completely beyond my control before they'll let me borrow the wheels. I have less than 24 hours.

That was a bitch move on my mother's part.

God dammit, it's been nearly a week and a half since Gate of Death came out and it's nowhere to be seen! I'll have to request the damn thing

 

I'm supposed to drive to Duluth tomorrow to visit my boyfriend, and to do that I need to borrow a car. Well, I'd set it all up (guest parking pass, gas money, estimated time of arrivals and departures), but now they're feigning worry about my academic status. So they want notes from my professors saying what my grades are before I leave tomorrow afternoon, or I don't go.

In that situation, there is only so much I can do. I've emailed and called all my professors, but in twenty hours I'll have to be on the road, if I'm going to go. This doesn't leave a lot of wiggle room.

 

That blows. If I had a choice in it, I'd rip down with the Cruiser and pick you up...but I'm working, so...sorry

 

Thanks...I'm just pissed, because I know my mom was behind this, because she hates my boyfriend.

To be fair, you'd hate someone who got your daughter into doing some extremely dangerous things.

I got into flying completely on my own, so my parents have nobody to hate but me. My mother thinks it's the most dangerous thing ever

 

Flying won't get you arrested. Dan is my regular exploring companion, in fact he introduced me to it. And there have been a lot of deaths in the Twin Cities because of stupid people exploring recently.

 

Ouch. Yeah, there's not too much exploring to be done in Winnipeg, mainly because the city immediately takes over abandoned property and puts alarms in it. Pretty easy to get busted. Blah.

And yeah, there's quite a few times that flying CAN get you arrested. Look at an aeronautical chart of Manitoba, near Brandon, and find the really heavily shaded part that says CYR404(M). That's Camp Shilo's airspace (really easy to blunder into it), and it's time in the pokey if you go in there (and you might get shot at as well, there's live firing on aerial targets in there)

Just got back from physio. My left trap (muscle at the shoulder, near neck) is pretty tight, and that's why my left shoulder is higher than my right. I have to do some exercises to loosen it up and bring it back to normal. Also I need to fix up my posture, heh.

If anyone mentions anything to me about the snow, like "oh, what do you think about that snow?" I just say "weeaakk!" I mean really, it's pathetic. It'll prob melt by the morning. Sucks, but yeah.
