Okay, I flirt in real life too lol. I was just saying the reason I text a lot is cause I flirt with this one girl. I'm not one of those people who can't hold a real life conversation
I try too hard to calculate everything out end up looking one-dimensional, monotonous, and uninteresting.
The Elcor feel your pain. In all seriousness, I think once you're self critical like this, you will start to change. You'll act differently in some time. Idk if that makes sense.
Listening to Coldplay's X&Y for the first time in a while. This is a lot better than I remember it being.
I used to really love that album but I'm not a huge fan of it anymore. It's just kinda boring. Mylo Xyloto probably has to be my favorite album from them. So explosive and fun.
Our football team won the fucking state championship. Literally no one expected it. We've never even been in 25 years, much less won. Oh, and I went to the zoo today, Michele.
I think MX has some of Jonny's best guitar melodies and tones. "Major Minus", "Don't Let it Break Your Heart", "Hurts Like Heaven". Though my favorite things by Jonny are probably "Chinese Sleep Chant" and "Always in my Head". MX is also one of the band's better albums.
For some reason, I've never been a fan of Major Minus. It always seemed a bit out of place on the album. I'd rather a track like Moving to Mars take its place. It is one of their better albums, but it never cracks the top three for me. The back half of the album looses some steam.
"Major Minus" has more of a funk rock meets psychedelic vibe to it, so I guess in that sense it does feel out of place. But I like that it doesn't sound like typical Coldplay. I agree with what you said about "Moving to Mars" and the album becoming less interesting towards the ends, which is the case with most Coldplay's albums unfortunately. I think VLV, Rush of Blood, and HFAD are the only albums that sustain my full attention throughout their entirety. Although for some reason, to this day, I really can't stand the song "Viva la Vida".
