I'm good! I joined a gym so I'm getting healthier too. Where? Just in my house. Can't go anywhere, I need to get an internship or training within this month What about you?
I am so fucking exhausted right now. I went on a pedal boat yesterday with my wife and almost had to outrun a sea plane. Probably the most exercise I've gotten in years.
Is your vacation going well though? How's the situation with the internship and training going? I wish you luck on that. Also, awesome that you decided to join a gym. I wish I could do that. I've just been looking for another job and trying to get well. Practice guitar a lot and have been working on some music with other people.
Ah I got an internship starting from Monday for fifteen days. So I will barely have any holidays left after that. Oh well. Good luck, Tony!
Hey guys, fun story- At my band's last show, we brought in a fairly decent crowd of around 100 composed of family, friends, and fans. It looked fairly impressive for the small venue we were playing at. Anyways, we finished the show and this older dude starts talking to us. Turns out he's friends with this other older dude, who was next to him. This guy's name is John Tovar, and he's the dude who noticed Marilyn Manson's band when they were playing small shows before Trent Reznor signed them to his label (I live in the same county and live next to the high school MM went to, fun fact). The first older dude told the venue to bring us back so he could bring Tovar to see us play. Well apparently he wants to hook us up with more shows and talk about a management deal for us. However... after talking with him, we kicked out half the band. We were planning on doing it after the show regardless, but the whole deal made things too crazy. So we're down a singer, keyboardist, and a guitarist. But that doesn't mean we're stopping. We contacted the necessary parties and will continue working something out as soon as the band is ready. It's super scary being in this in between stage of getting somewhere and being nowhere. All the while keeping up with work and school. But I'm so close to something. Just have to keep it up. So TL;DR, the dude who managed Marilyn Manson's band wants to work with Curtain Call but we just kicked out half of the band. And so the journey gets fun.
Thank you guys <3 Eh, he was a diva with a huge case of front man syndrome and was hard to work with. He has style but not the greatest voice, and it just didn't entirely make up for his short comings
He definitely gave off that impression but as I said earlier, you don't want a frontman who isn't comfortable on stage. That said, I fully understand and support your decision @Good GoodRy
I'm sorry that wasn't working out for you. Are you auditioning new people to fill in those spots now?
Is it normal to get all happy and giddy about the estimated arrival date of your package getting moved a few days earlier? Sure as hell gets me excited.
