It's no so serious guys . I'm going to play guitar and piano still. I've just spent so much money and time on music, without any results. At least 10-11 years. Even when I practice and try to get better, people still don't like my music - which is fine. I'm not cut out for that probably. But I do love playing instruments still, so that's something I won't lose.
He's actually the Company owner. But the other "shareholder" is the only "higher-up" and I kind of did: His father.
Now that I finally got a copy of Devin Townsend's best album, my collection of his stuff is complete. So, what did I do? Got all of his albums (solo, Strapping, etc.), and spent about 20 minutes deciding, and lining up his discography from best to worst on my bookshelf. God, I'm such a dork.
Oh, it wasn't a permanent thing. It was just a way for me to visualize the ranking. They're back in order of release date I do include non solo stuff in there, but they're basically solo albums under different names.
My brother has a weird habit of ordering the songs from shortest to longest on his playlists. It kind of irritates me lol. To me, that's like ordering a book's chapters from shortest to longest.
It really is. I gave it a listen a few months ago, and was taken aback by how great it is. So much energy. Some people may say otherwise, but it hasn't aged at all to me.
The new Devin Townsend album leaked 3 weeks ahead of its release date. There's a real temptation for me to download it, but I'll probably wait for the vinyl to come in.
Not gonna lie, I haven't listened to Hybrid Theory in months, but on my first listen I didn't find anything special with it. Sure, it's a good record, but it wasn't amazing. I haven't really changed my mind on it since.
