RANDOM THOUGHTS 26 [CLOSED]

The original deal was we break up before school. Then we didn't. I certainly didn't expect the relationship to survive my mononucleosis, but it did. I didn't expect the relationship to survive my catching up with school after the disease, but it looks like it did. God knows if I break up with her I won't have a girlfriend for a while. So I'll just keep going.

 

Wait, what the fuck?!

 

Yeah. She goes to school with her ex, and both her and me were expecting they would get back together when school started. So I was like, fuck it, why even bother when it starts? Then like late August she said she doesn't want to break up and that she loves me, and I was like, eh, why the fuck not? Worked out.

 

So the handies are that good, huh?

Listening to Gerard Way's new album, I'm surprised how Warner/Reprise agreed to release this. It's more ambitious and less radio-friendly than ANY MCR album.

 

I see a load of you talking so in depth and seriously about your "love life"....then you proceed to mention that you're still at school...

You're far too young to be taking things so seriously in your life, chill out

 

Lol this. If there's not much I could really speak about from a place of experience, but this I can. The things that seem so urgent in high school are so trivial in real life (no, high school is not real life).
Anyways, it bugs me that I could be without mobile data for a day and it's almost like a hard drug withdrawal. Talk about trivial problems, Jesus.

"High school isn't real life." Oh really? I go to a pretty hard school and my parents always have huge expectations from my grades/competitions. This results is a shitload of stress by itself. Next up, there's the people aspect. All this "drama" you get in high school is something you don't get that much in "real life" (I guess you live a real life cuz ur so above me). And that can be stressful too. Then there's dealing with shitty adults who think less of you because of age - oh hello, LPA aswell. On top of all this, you're going through puberty, the most "fragile" time in your life. So don't tell me "high school" isn't real life.

Second, if the talking love life too seriously comment was aimed at me, I don't know if you noticed through the last 2 pages of this thread but I definitely don't take it too seriously nor do I really have any expectations from this relationship/relationships in general in this age. But I'll take this I guess "unimportant" love life over no love life at all. I'm 16 - why shouldn't/couldn't I have a girlfriend? It's just fun at this point, no fucking wedding rings expected. And for all the teens here who post about their love life on this thread or the Venting Out thread, keep going, our problems are just as important as theirs - if we're really gonna divide members into age groups now.

You just hit the nail on the head when you said "IF....comment was aimed at me". My actual words were "i see a load of you". That in itself should explain that it wasn't aimed at YOU in particular. You put the word "unimportant" in my mouth - which I didn't even come close to saying - so that point is irrelevant.

Also I'm not sure why you're trying to start some kind of 'THEM AGAINST US!' revolution...? I'm 21 years old lol, I'm hardly an old man compared to you

I'm so sick of this place - and everywhere else - looking down on me based upon age. And I'm not the one starting a them against us revolution, but if a member tells me that something I'm going through right now "isn't even real life", I'm gonna get pretty mad.
