    I've always wondered why Star Wars fans tend to not like Return of the Jedi. The Ewoks are not a damn reason.

    They seemed like such a transparent attempt at marketing to young children and selling toys. They're so aesthetically inconsistent with the rest of the Star Wars universe in the original trilogy, especially coming on the heels of the much darker Empire. I don't think they're the sole reason for Jedi being weaker, but they're definitely part of it. With that said, The Empire Strikes Back just wasn't going to be topped, in my opinion. It's pretty much the pinnacle of that brand of adventuring sci-fi.

    Take this all with a grain of salt, though, because I'm not exactly a Star Wars junkie.

    lol My opinion should also be taken with a grain of salt, I am a Star Wars junkie, but I also didn't mind the prequels, which makes my opinions invalid.
