I wanted to skip class today but getting the doc to write a note of explanation is $30. I mean, can you believe it? 30 bucks to skip a day?

 

I went to the garden and accidentally stepped on the mud and got bitten by a bunch of ants a while ago. Now, I am clawing at my legs like a psycho.

I played Reptilia by The Strokes with my band for my school talent show. We all worked very hard on this and had a ton of fun playing it

The 1, 2, 3, 4! is a count-off so that the band knows how fast the beat is, everyone starts at the same time, etc. Usually the drummer does it quietly, or in the pro-world a click track is used, but I guess it's a #hardcorepunk thing for the singer to do lol

All jokes aside, I legit had fun watching that. Sounded good (guitar in the first verse was dry as hell, that was the biggest issue), and you guys seriously have potential. Keep posting stuff like this.

For the dry guitar comment, are you referring to the palm muted part, or the parts from the beginning up till the chorus ("Yeah the nights not over you're not...")?

Maybe "dry" wasn't the right word, it just sounds empty. Like it has no sustain. Could be like that in the original, idk.
