    SOAD: Toxicity

    70s/80s:
    • Boston - Boston
    • Rush - Moving Pictures
    • Black Sabbath - Heaven And Hell
    • Eagles - Hotel California
    • King Crimson - Red
    • Genesis - The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway
    • Metallica - Master of Puppets
    • Judas Priest - Screaming for Vengeance
    • Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin IV / Untitled
    • The Rolling Stones - Exile on Main Street
    • Yes - Close to the Edge
    • Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here

This list could go on for a long time, but I'm trying to keep it short.

The 60's is where real good rock music was made.

Jimi Hendrix- Are you Exprienced, Axis: Bold as Love
    Led Zeppelin: I, II, III
    Black Sabbath: Black Sabbath, Paranoid
King Crimson: In the Court of the Crimson King
    Jethro Tull: Aqualung
Iggy Pop and the Stooges: Raw Power
    Metallica: Kill em All
    Styx: The Grand Illusion
    Santana: Santana
The Beatles: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Club, The White Album

Not all from the 60's, but enough that you can't ignore it. Also the SOAD album is the self titled.

I love the feel of stuff like "Changes" by Black Sabbath, you guys got anything like that? In those albums or somewhere else, doesn't matter.

That whole album (Volume 4) is awesome for that reason. In fact, now that you've brought it up, I don't know why I didn't include it.

OMG Black Sabbath and 60's/70's music talk :leak: :leak: :leak:

    The essentials for me:

The Beatles: "Abbey Road", "White Album (Disc 1 + Helter Skelter, Disc 2 can suck it)"
Black Sabbath: "Paranoid", "Masters of Reality", "Heaven and Hell"
Deep Purple: "In Rock", "Machine Head" "Shades of"
    Cream: "Disraeli Gears"
    Led Zeppelin: "Led Zeppelin IV"
Queen: "Sheer Heart Attack", "A Night At The Opera"
Pink Floyd: "Wish You Were Here"

Probably the most well known bands of the era because I only started digging at it a few months ago. Still all fucking awesome

Oh, I would have totes included 60s stuff (as it is the best era), but Filip asked for only 70s/80s.

    60s:
    • King Crimson - In The Court of the Crimson King
    • The Beatles - Abbey Road, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
    • Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II
    • The Rolling Stones - Let It Bleed
    • Cream - Wheels Of Fire
    • Traffic - Mr. Fantasy
    • The Who - Tommy, Who's Next (even though this one is 70s)

And that's all I can think of right now.

I'm a Van Halen singles fan. Could never make it through a whole album though.

I'd bet you've listened to these two, but if not, Van Halen and 1984 are two solid albums from front to back
