Did you hear that Longview, Texas payed Ted Nugent 16,000 dollars NOT to play in their town? FUCKING LOL.

I actually hadn't heard of this before, but I wouldn't put it past him. I was talking about what he did to Rotting Christ a few years back when he refused to play at the same festival as them (I believe he got Dissection kicked off a bill too, now that I think about it).

 

Yeah, he won't play with any "satanic" bands but he kicked Newsted off his tour as well.

 

I'd wear it as a badge of honor! It would be like getting your funeral protested by the WBC. What better confirmation of how awesome you are?


But yeah, the metal world would be a much better place if Dave just played guitar and didn't talk or have opinions on anything.

 

Metal already has a meathead reputation, which I find to be not wrong but completely the other way around. But how you perpetuate that when one of the most popular artists is a complete tool belt.

 

I feel selfish asking for anything more, yet I'm not fully happy with anything I have. Materially.

 

So Christine McVie has rejoined Fleetwood Mac and they're going on tour.

They fucked up The Joker so bad in Arkham Origins it almost makes want to stop right where I'm at. Why wouldn't you use the same Joker. Why in God's name wouldn't you bring back Mark Hamill who fits the Joker so well it's on par with Heath Ledger. I'm really, really let down.

 

Because Mark Hamill is done with the Joker, he announced back when Arkham City came out that that would be his last appearance as Joker in anything.

I haven't played Origins yet, but I remember being more concerned about Kevin Conroy not voicing Batman than Mark Hamill not voicing the Joker (Not saying Mark Hamill isn't good, he's my favorite Joker).

 

No, Batman was done excellently. It's not even that Hamill isn't the Joker anymore, it's that they botched it SO bad. On top of the games glitchiness, I really feel like they half assed this one. Apparently it's even glitchier on Xbox.

 

I feel so bloated and like I have to burp but i haven't had anything to eat or drink today. Hmm.

 

Mark Hamill didn't even want to do Arkham City at first. He only decided to do it when Kevin Conroy and Paul Dini returned. Joker's death was a metatextual commentary on Hamill's last appearance. Arkham Origins was only a filler game by Warner Montreal to give Rocksteady more time to do Arkham Knight.

By the way, about Arkham Knight:

*Batmobile
*Kevin Conroy is back as Batman.
*City is five times as big as Arkham City
*Gordon and Oracle are back.
*Scarecrow is main antagonist, with him forming an alliance with Penguin, Harley Quinn, Two Face and Riddler.
*There's a new villian, the Arkham Knight, created by DC and Rocksteady, that is like a futuristic Batman.

 

You've returned my faith in AK possibly being decent. Love that Scarecrow will be the main guy. He's probably my favorite villan (other than joker of course! )

 

You do realize that WB Montreal made Origins, not Rocksteady? And that Rocksteady is making Akrham Knight?

 

lol I had no clue. I knew Rocksteady made Asylum and City. It didn't even occur to me somebody different would've made this one.

 

Rocksteady was so focused in Arkham Knight that they didn't even bother to make multiplayer for it anymore, especially since it's the final chapter of the TRILOGY (Asylum, City, Knight). Origins was just a filler game.

By the way Origins isn't bad at all. It's just not revolutionary. The biggest improvement imo is the boss battles, especially Deathstroke.

 

The Deathstroke fight is badass. And I really didn't have much to complain about (minus a couple glitches) until the Joker.
