Yeah...

 

So, today was a nice day for me .. Making progress, I hope to land this new job so I can finally start building up on experience.

 

what does that even mean? How do equal rights just not work?

 

This is why my mother buys Christmas gifts in September.

Still, you don't need to give physical gifts to them. Maybe say hi, hang out with them and have a good time. Or be very nice to them. That's giving, isn't it?

If the majority was AGAINST, it would've worked. But since the majority voted for putting the regulation in the constitution, it can't work for now. So it's kinda silly to say that it "wouldn't work in a country like this". Of course it would, if Against won! The people who voted For would be a minority and if they discriminated LGBT people, they would get discriminated back.

Context: last Sunday, a there was a referendum in Croatia that seeked to put the regulation that marriage is a union of a man and a woman into the constitution of the country, despite there being a family law saying the same thing. The founders of this action are seeking to make it even harder for LGBT people to get married in the future, and it's also a preventive measure against the government, since the government has been showing signs of... well, tolerance, which could have made it possible for LGBT people to be able to get married in the near future.

37% of the population of Croatia voted on the referendum, but that doesn't matter. 65% were FOR, so that's what won.

 

I was listening to the song A Light That Never Comes as I was walking through college, and I went into a hallway and noticed that one of the lights at the end of the hall was off, but the rest were on. Went into the next hallway, and I saw that most of the lights were off, too. Ah, don't you just love it when coincidences happen?

 

I bought myself a copy of Reanimation from my first paycheck today...

When you have been aware for months that you have a freaking long work paper to finish before 6th december....

And when you start working on that shit 3 days before 6th december..

God, I know that feeling. I've got two coming up real soon. I'd start on them now, but I do my best work under pressure.

 

I'm done with studying for this week.

Yesterday, I didn't even know what civilisations we've learned in history, and today, I know everything about every one of them. Coffee and coke to stay awake, and that's it!
