I'm safe, but the winds were felt here. Since I'm in the capital of the country, the storm was only mildly affected here. The province where the storm first hit though, was devastating. The storm caused a tsunami that washed on the land. Good thing it's finally gone since it's a fast storm. So far, only a hundred have died. Tragic.

According to CNN, Haiyan is stronger than both Hurricane Katrina and Sandy combined. Katrina had peak winds of 280kph over Gulf of Mexico, while Haiyan had 315 kph winds, which peaked during landfall.

It's heading its way towards Vietnam and China. It's expected to be stronger, though. I hope they're prepared.

My high E string broke last night. I tried putting a new string in for the first time and only broke one before I got a new one in there.
