Today, I went to a charity shop near where I live, and I noticed a copy of Hybrid Theory. I had a look at it, and it looked the same, but it looked more faded, there were no lyrics in the inlays and the disc was blank. I didn't buy it, but it could have been either an early cd, or a copied version of the original. Judging from how it looked, I'm leaning slightly more towards the thought that it may have been a copy.

Yeah, you could be right. The disc looked something like that, but I'm not saying for sure that it was a demo. I might go back to the shop and buy it next week, so I can figure out if it was a demo or a copy.

 

Man, Ground(ctrl)'s customer service is awesome, but damn why do I always have problems with orders. Having to send packages to Miami and not receiving them myself makes following so difficult.

 

Does it have any signs that it's the real thing? Label names, logos, trademarks, stuff like that.

 

Usually promo copies would have some sort of catalogue number on it. If it didn't then it's probably a fake.

 

Again, I'm not saying for sure that it was a demo. The case was the same as the retail release. Only the disc gives it some mystery.

 

Yeah, then it's most likely a bootleg of some sort. I wouldn't waste your money on it if I were you.

 

I love that people trashed iOS 7 at its reveal without even trying it out, and here we are about a month later and this article is out:
