    I just came home from my trip to Australia and Singapore last Monday. It was a great triple-trip: Gold Coast, Sydney and Singapore...the theme parks, the sights and the hospitality of the citizens...but I have three problems.

    1) Why, in Australia, does everything close at 5PM? Even restaurants? :(
    2) Why does every hotel or establishment I go to require PAYMENT to access WIFI? Seriously? 11 AUS dollars just for 15 minutes of internet? Here at the Philippines, EVERY hotel and mall has free freaking WiFi. :(
    3) WHY IS EVERYTHING SO EXPENSIVE?

    Other than that, I LOVED Australia and Singapore. I just wish I had more time there.

    That desperating moment where you have extreme urgency to do an important task, but you're stucked waiting for others. So frustrating.

    On another note, my mom bought plastic cups, dishes and napkins that match the colors of my outfit for my presentation. She's that cool.

    Yesterday happened thw most horrible thing in my entire life. At around 8 PM my neighbour (and also a really good friend) comitted suicide. She was only 15 years old. She took a scarf and put it around her neck. Then she tied the scarf round the handrail...
    The parents weren't at home because the mother was at work and the father was invited to a party. They couldn't stop her from doing that.
    I am so shocked. I don't know what to do now. I am crying so much. Yesterday evening I had to go to the hospital to calm down. I am so depressed...

    Oh, God *hugs* - that is absolutely horrible. More so than any type of loss, suicides are hard to deal with so it's really good to hear that you got help, Melis.
