I had a dream that I was in the kitchen eating cereal. My dreams are always exciting

 

My dreams lately have been about disapproval from my family members. Pretty sad really.

 

I feel so honored.

 

Finally finished the my Shadow of the Day remix. The basic structure anyway. Now I just need to add and take away sounds until it's as perfect as it can be

 

I am screwed.

It's almost friggin impossible to start working if you have no money. And now I realise that even if you succeed at getting work, it's impossible to start work. Need a place in the same city to stay. Need a car. Need money to get those things. I don't get my signing bonus until the day I start. I thought I could build credit with a small credit card for a few years and be able to get bigger loans later. Turns out that's not as easy as it used to be. Turns out that if you're employed and haven't started yet, you're "unemployed" according to the loan sharks. Denied.

Well that's fine and dandy. If I had already started work, I wouldn't be needing a loan you idiot turds.

So here I am trying to do everything with the money I have on hand. Looks like I have to try doing everything without a car, so I can get a place to rent instead. Oh wait, but without a car, my choices for rental places are drastically reduced. It would make the commute really hard. And, frequent travelling to the city to look for housing would blow through everything I saved to put down on the deposit, further reducing my choices. Everything I look into doesn't pan out.

So now I realise it's now May. The fucking sixth of May. I start in two weeks. I have neither a place to live, or a car. I think I am down to the possibility of signing a year-long lease to a place I have not seen the inside of, and getting Internet scammed on top of it. Or, buying a car and being homeless. The American Dream is bullshit. I could imagine what life could be like if I didn't start off as well as I did. Or if I didn't blow all of my money on an excellent education as I did. Or had a good advisor as I did. I wouldn't even have made it this far. Hard work doesn't matter shit if you don't have money and good connections.

 

Now I'm starting to feel very stressed again as the deadline for the Graduation documents reception dangerously approaches and I'm still yet to have a date for my presentation. On top of that I need to cut the content my slideshow so much that it feels like I have to rewrite my thesis all over again.

All the hard work I put to finish in march and present the earliest I could is going to waste. I really don't want to graduate in August, too fucking long.

Seems like the work of the lazy and the competent deliver the same outcome, why do I even bother on doing things with great quality and with reasonable anticipation?

 

Oh god, have I been there before. But at the risk of sounding cliche I find that as time passes different doors seem to open up. So from somone who has been there many a time I think patience is would serve the situation Well.


On another note I love coming out of a totally civilized debate with a different opinion. Its cool to me when someone can give you different anglee on things.

 

Oh man I can see the doors. They're there. They're just a few paychecks away and I gotta find a way to live long enough to see that time .
