RANDOM THOUGHTS 25

This isn't an old pic, this is actually the view from my bedroom window.

I live in a zone called "Casco Histórico" (Historic Center), which is the part of the city where many of the houses are still the ones from the 1800's. Actually it's mentioned here. I do live near the Cathedral.

Just found that pic while browsing my facebook pics, so I wanted to share

 

There's a lot of building in the provinces of the Philippines that still harkens back to the 1800s. Some of them are popular tourist sites because of its unique structures. Speaking of nice photos...

Well this is a picture of Mayon Volcano. That building is actually the top of a church, because a few centuries ago, the volcano erupted and buried the entire town, leaving behind the top of the church. The remains of the church can be seen around the site. Yes, the land that separates the volcano and the church was ash/lava/lahar that buried the town.

The volcano (which is still VERY active, btw) is known for having a near-perfect cone structure. It's dangerous, but still beautiful.

So its looking like I've got a really good shot at a full time spot at work. Apparently I scored higher in the interview than guy who's been doing it 20 years so I just have to ace the climb test and I'm in.

Thanks joe! It's funny, I feel like I didn't do good at cause bumbled like and idiot the whole time. But my crew lead told me that I got the right answers out eventually and that was all that mattered lol

 

Very close to ending march and Venezuela registers close to 22,000 violent deaths on this 2013. And insecurity isn't even a topic of discussion to this government.

This 'socialism' is unsustainable, no matter on what angle you look at it.

Two weeks away from presidential elections, AGAIN. How irresponsible for Mr. Chavez to throw himself in candidacy knowing he wasn't going to be able to cope with the responsability, he couldn't even take possesion of the charge and we've been driven for two months by an ilegitimate State. Two currency devaluations in 100 days (since his puppets took over), that's one for the books.

 

Yesterday, Machine Head's Unto The Locust arrived in my post! It looks bigger than all my other CD's though!

 

Oh man, the new Paramore album is so good.
